This is Hoss, a very large silicone dildo manufactured by Tantus and sold by Eden Fantasies. It is freakin' huge! I ordered it from Eden after seeing it in person at my local sex toy store (not like a pro-sex place- think seedy porn shop!) and held it in my hands, promptly falling in love. I really do adore big toys and fisting, size queen is surely a term that applies to me. In the last several years, companies such as Vixen Creations, Happy Valley and of course Tantus, have stepped up to make large toys for all the size queens out there in body friendly silicone. There are many more high end options now, versus jelly and rubber which are more in the realm of novelty sex toys. This, is a very very good thing.
Hoss comes packaged in a plastic bag with a basic cardboard fold-over top and the Tantus logo. There is a bit of info about the silicone they use, and caring for the toy. I was pleased to find a little blurb about how with proper care this toy will 'last a lifetime' which is awesome. I have a few Tantus dildos I've had for several years and they look like they did the day I bought them, so I believe it. As far as storage...I keep mine upright on a closet shelf which works fine. The packaging it comes in isn't exactly reusable for storage, but it is recyclable! The size is probably going to make traveling with and storing this toy a bit difficult for some. But if you really want to, I'm sure you'll find a way!
So...this is a huge cock...at the risk of repeating myself. Hoss measures 2¾ in diameter and is 12¼ long, 10½ of that is insertable. The base consists of a solid set of balls ending in a flat backed base that enables it to sit firmly upright on any flat surface. Made of silicone, the quality of the material is wonderful and impressive. The silicone Hoss is made of is matte black, with a silken, velvety finish that feels amazing to the touch. The whole toy is solid, but bendable at the same time. Not floppy, but it has just the right amount of give and squish to it. The shaft is adorned with some veins for texture, they are peppered randomly along the toy. The texture is not extreme, but somewhat subtle and gentle. Not that anything else about Hoss is subtle or gentle. The tip has a ‘realistic’ tapered cock-head. It has a raised line down the underside of the shaft, also inspired a biological dick.
Okay so on to my experience. I think it goes without saying that warm-up and lube are not just important, but essential, with the Hoss. Silicone lubricant is a no-go for this dildo, since it is made of silicone. Silicone lube bonds to silicone toys and may wreck your toy. Water based lube is going to be a good choice, especially for vaginal use. An oil based lube can be used if you are using this toy anally, such as the ultra super thick Boy Butter (which I haven't personally tried, but am insanely curious about! It is a popular choice for anal fisting and big butt toys) I use Liquid Silk when I romp with Hoss, since it is my favorite lube ever, and it is pretty damn slick for a water based product. A lot of time and effort and playing around are also super important! I broke out my beloved Hitachi and my partner warmed me up first with Squirt, then the Hottie Xtra (which was my biggest dildo until Hoss) The tapered head is really wonderful, it really helps with insertion, a lot. It feels great in fact, and the slight give and flex the material has is perfect for balancing out the sheer size of this toy. It's not impossibly firm at all, it's very supple. So while it is big, Hoss proved to be very fuckable and well designed. The first time my guy actually got it inside me, it was insanely uncomfortable and I was disappointed! So we backed up a bit, and played with just the tip some more. I was seriously doubting I would even be able to use this toy and enjoy it...but lo and behold I did it. It was amazing, and I had one of the most mind bending orgasms I've ever experienced. Seriously intense, on all levels. It was ridiculous and I am in love with Hoss. Period. Positioning is another thing that helped with conquering this dildo. I used a Liberator shape, and let my legs fall open to the side to help open my hips up. This worked extremely well, and was actually my partners idea, since we had the ramp out anyway. The position even allowed thrusting with Hoss, which I was honestly not expecting to be able to take. Ah yes, the vagina is a miraculous thing. The head on the toy can definitely be felt, but as long as my partner wasn't too rough (and believe me, he wasn't) it was intensely fabulous. I haven't used Hoss anally yet, but if that actually happens (which it very well may) I will be sure to write about it. Trust me.
Silicone is an incredibly durable and safe material. Tantus silicone has no weird chemicals in it, and has absolutely no smell or taste. It is totally non-porous and easy to clean with regular/antibacterial soap and hot water. Okay, it can be a little tricky to wash since it is so large. But I like this dildo enough that I don't mind fussing around with it in my bathroom sink. I also noted that lint doesn't seem to stick to the matte surface as badly as with some shiny silicone toys. Awesome. To sterilize (such as for sharing or anal and vaginal use) simply spray with a 10% bleach solution and then wash thoroughly. Or you can run Hoss through your dishwasher on the top rack with no soap.

Hoss is definitely for people who like big toys. Seriously not for beginners, this is an 'advanced' toy. But if you have a thing for huge toys, and want a quality product, I could not recommend a better dildo. Hands down one of my favorite toys ever.
